What is Tourette’s?

Tourette Syndrome, commonly referred to as Tourette’s, is a neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by multiple motor tics and one vocal tic. It is commonly misunderstood and joked about in media. The CDC estimates that about 1.4 million people have Tourette in the U.S. alone, and this syndrome can frequently be debilitating.
